How to print the batch number
- In-line printing: Many labeling machines offer in-line printing capabilities. This involves integrating a printing module or system into the labeling machine. The batch number can be printed directly on the label as it is applied to the bottle during the labeling process.
- Offline printing: In this method, you print the batch numbers on separate labels or stickers using a separate printing device, such as a thermal printer or inkjet printer. These printed labels are then manually applied to the bottles after the labeling machine has applied the main label.
What is the main parts of Fillitech’s round bottle sticker labeling machine?
1. Separating wheel: The wheel is driven by motor and it can separates the bottles with certain distance for labeling properly.
2. Thermal code printer: The printer can code the label with mfg. date, EXP. date and batch numbers.
3. Label feeding device: The feeding system send the labels through roller driven by step motor. The PLC controls the feeding device to send out label accurately.
4. Touch screen: The HMI displays the states of the machine and messages. The operator uses the touch screen to set parameters and control the machine.
5. Rolling belt: The rolling belt rotates the bottles to roll the label on.
6. Conveyor: convey the bottles from last process position to the label machine.
7. E-stop button: Press the button to cut off the power in case of emergency.
8. Electronic board and control system: The control system acquires signals from sensors and sends instructions to the step motor and code printer.
What is the Fillitech’s round bottle labeling machine working process
- The conveyor carries the bottles which are already filled with tablets and capped to the separator wheel position.
- The separator wheel separates the bottles with certain interval and then the conveyor carries the bottles into the roller.
- Before the bottles go into the roller, the bottle detection sensor detects the bottle and then the PLC gets the signal to calculate the time for sending labels out.
- The bottles move forward to the position that the label head is ready to stick on the bottle in a tangent line.
Regular maintenace
Power:AC220V 50Hz, the earth wire should reliable, otherwise it can cause danger to equipment and man.
2. Do not use edge tools to press the touch screen. Avoiding scratching and affecting operation.
3. To guarantee clear characters, regularly clean the printing copper characters on the printer.
4. When label rolling belt, label press board and conveyor belt sticking to labels, clean them by alcohol. Do not use edge tools to clean them and cause damage.
5. Stop the machine immediately when there is abnormal noise and contact professional technicians to check the stoppage and restart the machine.
6. No lubrication oil or grease on the machine surface to avoid contamination of drugs or products.
7. Any operation should obey operation order.
8. Maintaining should be finished by full time person
9. Keep machine tidy. Do clean job in each shift.
10.Wear and tear parts like rubber base plate, label rolling belt, synchronous belt, etc,need to be changed promptly when not working well.
Trouble shooting
- Turn the power switch to “ON”, but machine doesn’t start.
Please check power, electric wires, and connections and make sure the “Emergency Stop” button is not on. If still not solved, please call after sale department in our company.
- Large deviation of label head and label tail and the deviation direction is same.
Please check the levelness of the machine. Adjusting the foot margin to keep machine horizontal. If the deviation direction is confounding, it’s the problem of bottle quality ( bottle cliff and bottle bottom is not vertical).
- Printing is not clear
Please whether check temperature control meter is within the operation scope, whether the gap between printer head and rubber base plate is suitable; also, the quality of ink ribbon and printer holding time affect the clearness of characters. Turn up the printing temperature (max. 240℃) or delay the printer holding time.
- Ink ribbon always break
Probably stoppage of printer, which causes ink ribbon locked or because of too long printer holding time. Check the printer, if the rolling ink ribbon is flexible, then decrease the printer holding time.
- Missed out labeling
Too fast labeling speed leads to this problem. Lower the labeling speed.
For occasionally missed out labeling, check whether the gap between guardrail and bottle separating wheel is suitable; some bottle is over soft or over hard, which affects the bottle separating time and leads to too small interval among bottles and leads to missed out labeling.

Ensure the label specification: Such as label sizes(length and width), material, shapes,and materials (such as paper, pressure-sensitive, shrink sleeves, or wrap-around labels), production volume, and other customer-made requirements like variable data or serialized coding.
